The Digital DNA Awards are set to return to the iconic ICC Belfast on 30th March 2023 with a capacity audience of 700 guests expected to celebrate the very best of the Northern Ireland tech and digital community.
Established in 2016 the Digital DNA Awards celebrate the success of Individuals, Projects and Companies from right across the highly competitive NI Tech and Digital Sector.
With 16 categories up for grabs, the Digital DNA Awards are now widely regarded as “the only awards that matter” by the NI Tech and Digital Community and showcase the very best of the NI tech and digital sector.
This year’s awards will once again be held in partnership with MCS Group, and will celebrate the very best tech talent from companies of all sizes, who are all excelling in the world of Digital and Tech. Developers, engineers and entrepreneurs, alongside start-ups, scale-ups, corporates and project teams will all be vying for one of the 16 highly sought-after awards, which also includes two new categories for 2023.
Commenting on the continued partnership between MCS and Digital DNA, Chris Busby, Head of Permanent IT Recruitment said,
“MCS Group are delighted to be sponsoring the Digital DNA awards for the 8th year running. We’re proud to be involved in an event that showcases the best digital exports to come out of Northern Ireland as well as shining a spotlight on our most creative and talented companies and individuals in the technology sector.”
In addition to the 14 categories presented in 2022, two new categories have been added in recognition of the changing landscape of the Northern Ireland Digital and Tech sector.
The Scaleup of the Year will recognise fast growing startups who are achieving £500k ARR or who have raised more than £1 million in VC funding. And the Tech Ambassador award will celebrate the achievements of an individual who champions the promotion of STEM within the local community.
Digital DNA CEO, Simon Bailie commented on the return of the Digital DNA Awards and said;
“It’s fantastic to be able to announce the return of the Digital DNA Awards on 30th March 2023. Last year’s sold out Awards were the biggest ever in Northern Ireland, which is testament to the continued strength of the region’s tech and digital economy. With two new categories for 2023, we are expecting the competition to be even greater.”
Winners will be announced on Thursday 30th March 2023 at ICC Belfast for what will be the biggest ever awards ceremony for the Northern Ireland tech industry.
Entries open from 9am on Monday 28th November and with last year’s Awards attracting a record number of entries with some 400+ entries from over 170 companies, the 2023 edition of the awards is set to be another incredible year of recognition for the tech industry in Northern Ireland.
