Our sales associate roles work on securing sponsorship and exhibition opportunities for our program of events. Working with some of the biggest names in tech, both locally and internationally, they play a vital role ensuring the success of our events.

As a conference producer, you will be responsible for our portfolio of current and future events. Your work will include researching industry trends, the recruiting of speakers, writing conference agendas and marketing collateral, and managing speaker relations at the event.

Sales Associate

What you will be doing
  • Identifying and securing sponsorship and partnership opportunities
  • Working independently on sales activities
  • Representing and promoting Digital DNA to potential clients
Who you are
  • Keen interest in the local and international tech sector
  • Minimum of 2-year sales experience
  • Experience using social media to identify potential leads and prospects
  • Good understanding of selling creative solutions to our target markets
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Already has a good network of potential customers
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Energetic, dependable, self-motivated and confident
  • Naturally curious and not afraid to go outside the comfort zone

 

Desirable
  • 1-3 years Media or Sponsorship sales experience or sales experience in the IT sector
  • Already working as a contract advertising/media sales associate
  • Event, conference and/or awards operational experience
  • Understanding of digital marketing techniques
  • Experience using CRM systems

Conference Producer

As a conference producer for Digital DNA, you will be responsible for our portfolio of current and future events. Your work will focus on recruiting conference speakers, researching industry trends, writing conference agendas and marketing collateral, and managing speaker relations at events.

 

As a Conference Producer for Digital DNA, you will be:

 

  • Sourcing & recruiting thought leaders, industry experts and commentators to speak at Digital DNA events
  • Asked to research, create and build agenda’s for several events and conferences annually
  • Someone with the ability to identify new and interesting tech trends
  • Driven to develop great events that people interested in business and the tech industry can’t afford to miss
  • Curious and Interested in the tech industry
  • Entrepreneurial when solving problems and, of course, have great communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Working with the content and marketing teams to create campaigns to highlight benefits and promote featured speakers
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, high-growth environment
  • This role is NOT an Event Management role! You will NOT be responsible for sourcing suppliers, managing vendors, organising coffee or confirming catering!

Key Responsibilities

  • Researching and sourcing senior-level industry professionals to be speakers 
  • Conduct research into key topics and curate conference and event agendas
  • Write show and event notes for hosts and production staff and crew
  • Coordinate speaker prep ahead of events
  • Work with marketing and content team to develop event concepts
  • Responsible for on-day management of speakers at conferences (online & in-person), webinars and other events as required
  • Support the creation of new and innovative content and formats
  • Assist with other company content and media requirements such as online publishing, video content and other content output

Skills Required

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, research and analytical skills are essential
  • The ability to work independently and to collaborate with other key stakeholders
  • Are well-organised and display the ability to structure and prioritise your work, handling multiple projects within strict timelines
  • A can do attitude and comfortable working under pressure
  • Are curious about people and love to speak, build and nurture relationships

What’s on Offer

  • Remote Working  (this is a remote position but we would prefer that you are located within the United Kingdom or Ireland. Travel will be required to in-person events when they are able to return. Occasional travel to Digital DNA’s head office in Belfast.)
  • Open to freelance and contract applicants
  • Flexible working – We don’t subscribe to the 9-5!
  • Flexible Holiday arrangements – Other than public holidays, we are fairly flexible!
  • Opportunities to attend events when allowed

Event Co-Ordinator

Our events team are responsible for bringing together all the elements that go into producing world class events, including conferences, awards ceremonies and exhibitions. If you thrive under pressure and get a kick out of seeing the results of your hard work, then this may well be your next challenge.

What you will be doing 
  • Work with 3rd party suppliers, negotiating rates and contracts
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders
  • Co-ordinate all venue operational activities
  • Oversee attendee experience
  • Manage VIP and speaker experience

 

Key Attributes
  • Minimum 1 year in an operational role and/or planning role
  • Strong Project management and administrative skills
  • Budget management and scheduling skills
  • Natural problem solver
  • Eye for detail whilst managing multiple priorities
  • Proven communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Can work independently and willing to test new ideas
  • Keen interest in the local and international tech sector

 

Desirable
  • 1-3 years’ experience in event planning
  • Health & Safety and First Aid training
