Since graduating I have fulfilled my passion to support and encourage entrepreneurial activity in Scotland. As a young businesswoman, I have a particular focus on working with female business leaders who face challenges I can appreciate and help alleviate through my experience and contacts.

As Managing Director of the organisation StartEDIN, created to bring together the Tech community in Edinburgh, I have had the pleasure of cultivating and supporting start-up and scale-up businesses through:

  • Creating links between Edinburgh and global Tech Hubs in Asia, Europe and North America.
  • Hosting dinners and events to bring together entrepreneurs and business leaders to share experience and learnings.
  • Encouraging other female business leaders to exceed in their chosen careers.
  • Assisting start-up businesses to secure publicity and visibility both in Scotland and London.

Our efforts for StartEDIN were rewarded with Edinburgh securing the title of Entrepreneurial City of the Year for the UK in November 2016.

In addition to StartEDIN, I hold the role of Membership Manager at the Scottish Business Network (SBN) an independent international membership organisation made up of Scottish Business Leaders who have the ambition to take their goods and services out with the Scottish market and Scottish Diaspora who are willing to support Scottish businesses with their export plans by sharing knowledge and expertise.

Finally, as the youngest member of Exolta Capital Partners, I work on a range of client projects based across Europe where I provide strategic support to companies looking to accelerate growth.
