Now in their 6th year, the Digital DNA awards are widely regarded as the No.1 Awards for companies and individuals working within the fast growing and highly competitive tech industry in Northern Ireland. The Digital DNA Awards also included the presentation of the Digital DNA Global Recognition Award 2021 to Nextdoor CEO, Sarah Friar This special award recognises an individual from Northern Ireland who has achieved phenomenal success within the tech sector and is someone who continues to be passionate and a real champion for Northern Ireland on the global stage. Originally from sion mills, she now lives and works in northern california. following senior roles at Goldman Sachs and Salesforce, she joined Square and as CFO, she was instrumental in taking the company public. And in 2019 she joined Nextdoor as CEO. As well as being on the board of Slack and Walmart, she is also founder of Ladies Who Launch and of course, she is one of the original founders of Ormeau Baths.
