NI STEM event to showcase STEM careers at NI Science Festival

I ❤️ My STEM Career! will all take place on the mornings of the 21st and 22nd Feb, highlighting exciting STEM-focused career opportunities and pathways for teenagers and young people.


Via the event live stream (and with a limited number of tickets to join us in person) at I ❤️ My STEM Career, comedian, international award-winning science communicator and conference and event MC presenter, Emer Maguire will be chatting to a whole host of local STEM professionals, finding out why they love what they do and highlighting lots of exciting STEM-focused career opportunities and pathways for teenagers and young people in NI.


Expect short punchy chats, and the opportunity for students and young adults (and anyone else tbh) to discover if a science, tech, engineering or maths inspired job could be for them! 


Schools, and further education providers are encouraged to register for the event that will be live streamed from The Nerve Centre in Derry~Londonderry and Ormeau Baths in Belfast on the 21st and 22nd February respectively. 


Startacus and NI Science Festival are collaborating with Pulsar, the NI online hub for Women in STEM and Matrix, The Northern Ireland Science Industry Panel to facilitate the live events, with the core aim of demystifying STEM careers to students and young people in NI.
