The countdown has begun for the third Northern Ireland Apprenticeships Week 2022 and runs from 7th– 11th February that will showcase how apprenticeships can transform the future of apprentices and businesses. With just one week to go, the College is getting ready to host a range of online activities for this annual celebration about all-things apprenticeships.
The College’s virtual events that run from 7th February will highlight the opportunities that are available to people considering an ’earn as you learn’ apprenticeship route. There will be online case studies from apprentices themselves who will give a deeper insight into the many benefits of taking part in an apprenticeship programme with Belfast Met.
Find out about the benefits of an Investment Operations apprenticeship with Citi in partnership with Belfast Met can bring from the current series of apprentice case studies. Apprentices can meet the team from the College’s Centre for Skills and Apprenticeships and explore pathways available locally.
One of the highlights of Northern Ireland Apprenticeships Week is the Annual Apprenticeship Week Awards, and Belfast Met has been shortlisted for the third year running in partnership with Fusion Heating Ltd. in the Small to Medium Enterprises Award category. Fusion Heating currently has five Belfast Met apprentices training with them and we wish them all the best of luck for the awards which take place on 9th February.
Aidan Sloane, Director of Development and Digital at Belfast Met, confirmed: “At Belfast Met we have a deep commitment to apprenticeships and continues to work with companies such as Citi and Fusion Heating that are committed to developing skills. The College is committed to supporting businesses to train and upskill their workforce, and to ensure that apprentices thrive in their chosen career pathway for the next steps in their future career.”
